How to Cite a Journal in APA, MLA or Chicago

To cite a special issue or section in a journal, add a description in brackets after the title. See the below examples:

Special Issue Smith, J. (Ed.). (2004). US banking economic policy [Special Issue]. American Economics, 4(3). Section in a Journal Silva, P. R., & Melvani, V. R. (Eds.). (2005). Internet influence on childhood behavior [Special section]. Psychology Today, 5(2), 51-101.
