An Introductory Tutorial




1. Select a source.

At the EasyBib home page, just click the "Select a source" button. A pulldown list of sources will pop up. Think about the source you are citing. Is it a book? A journal? Select the format that makes the most sense for what you are citing.

2. Fill out the form.

This page is where you fill in all the source details. If you don't know something, don't worry. Fill out everything you know, and EasyBib will take care of the formatting.

3. That's it. Export your list or keep going.

As you can see, your source is now cited. If you are finished, just click "Export to Word" on the right hand side. You'll get a document to save that will allow you to easily copy into your paper. If you're not finished, just select another source. EasyBib will automatically add your citation to your bibliography and alphabetize it appropriately.
